The short version: your packing list stays on your device, and we only use analytics if you say yes.
Who we are
This website, cruisepackinglist.co.uk, is operated as Cruise Packing List UK. You can contact us about privacy atbusiness@molthur.com.
Your packing list
When you use the packing planner, your answers and the items you tick are saved in your browser’s local storageon your device. This lets your list be there when you come back. That information:
- is not sent to us or to anyone else;
- is not linked to your name, email address or any account;
- can be deleted at any time using “Start again” in the planner, or by clearing your browser’s site data.
The planner doesn’t ask for personal details such as your name, age, email address or health information.
Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from, so we can improve it. Google processes information such as your device, browser, pages viewed and an online identifier stored in a cookie. We don’t use this to identify you, and Google Signals and ad personalisation are turned off.
Google Analytics only runs after you select “Accept analytics”. If you reject it or don’t choose, it isn’t loaded. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. See our cookie policy for details, andGoogle’s privacy policy for how Google handles data.
Advertising and tracking
We don’t use advertising, social media pixels or other tracking technologies. If this changes, we will update this policy and our cookie policy first, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Hosting and server logs
Like all websites, our pages are delivered by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the hosting provider’s servers necessarily process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use this information to identify you.
Emails
If you email us, we will use your email address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to official sources such as cruise lines, GOV.UK and the NHS. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct and delete it. Because the planner keeps your list only on your device, you control that information directly. For anything else, email us. You can also complain to theInformation Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
